About the FP-5
The FP-5 is the best portable digital piano out there with its 88-key graded weighted-action and speakers. It is beautifully styled and has wonderful sounds including a fantastic stereo-sampled acoustic piano, great electric pianos, an adjustable draw-bar organ, strings, guitars, basses, vocals (including Roland’s cool scat voices), and many other usable sounds. There are also great built-in effects, such as reverb, chorus, and tremelo, to enhance your sounds. It has a full set of general midi (GM-2) voices and can be attached to your computer via its built-in USB interface. The session partner provides a professional sounding backup band with lots of styles to play with, and the built-in sequencer is perfect for recording and playing back your performance. The action is just like a real grand piano, and the included DP-8 damper pedal supports half-pedaling for superior artistic control. You also have very convenient control of splits and layers for playing multiple sounds at the same time.

You can see and hear the FP-5 at Roland’s web site.

If you need a case for the FP-5, check out my other auction for the Yamaha S90 bag. It’s light, well padded, has wheels, and has a shoulder strap. I used it for the FP-5. It fit perfectly.
