Thanks to Gary Diamond for turning me on to a Yamaha PSR adapter...same specs as the Casio MZ2000...

I borrowed UD's and it works fine...

Now who has an extra power supply for the PSR?

Email me ...before I order one from a local dealer..

Ironic that the PSR adapter works I'm glad it wasn't your keyboard. Have you been happy having the MZ-2000 back in your hands?

One day I'll probably buy another one. Even though it was 61 keys I loved many of that boards features. Wife's nagging, and too many keyboards at the time I had it--one had to go

Squeak, the MZ2000 may work out better for me than the WK3000..
I prefer the 76 keys of the WK3000 and the Drawbars with Leslie effects has a slight edge to the WK3000.
The Piano edge also goes to the WK..
The rest of the sounds are fairly equal..

Now why the MZ will be better for me....Polyphony...I can't get away with 32 polyphony [WK3000]...The 64 the MZ offers is like a breath of fresh air..

If I play over a busy sequence on the WK, it actually gets erratic[speed], a strange effect with the polyphony..The MZ, has no problem..

The Mic input on the MZ with effects..may be just what I need for in and out jobs[small set up]...I wanted to get another VA-7 for this reason..maybe the MZ will put that idea on hold..

Another reason I like the MZ...Lyrics show on the screen[I forgot it had lyric read outs]

There are so many things the MZ can do ,it isn't fair to compare it to the WK series.

Too bad the MZ doesn't have a SM card to go with the floppy, and this "O" format only for sequences is a pain on both units..

You never can tell Squeak,,this MZ may be in your studio....maybe soon..

Fran, Circuit City has both Yamaha and Casio adapters, but I didn't notice which ones. You can check online. I got one for the WK3000 at Radio Shack.

I ordered one [PA-300]from George..He had it in stock...

Fran,
It went out of here yesterday. For those interested, the PA300 Yamaha adapter is $139.00 (but I gave Fran a special Synthzone price!)
