Yamaha wants to release it around October in Europe. Usually they are a few month late. Patience my friend. I saw prices at http://www.piens.be and there prices are: yamaha psr9000pro 3470� (this is the netto price....I mean the official price minus 20%) yamaha tyros : 2677� The Tyros is a lot cheaper...what does it not have that the 9000pro has ? Alain

You can see pictures of it here: http://www.synthplanet.com/store.lasso?ref=synthplanet-e&-anyerror=error.lasso I am concerned that Yamaha chose to call this keyboard "Tyros", which someone mentioned was Greek for "beginner". In the little bit of info I've spotted so far, I have not seen anything about Tyros' sampling capability, or polyphony, or expansion board options. So I assume the worst. Granted that the info given is preliminary but caution is warranted. Also my computer experience is screaming at me: never buy v1.0 of anything!
