All the curent PSR's that have floppy drives use the same format. The discs are interchangable between machines and your computer. The only difference will be if a song has a style or voice that is not on the machine you are trying to play it on, it will either have that voice absent, or substitute something IT thinks appropriate. That is to say, the disks are fully upward compatible, going from a 640 to a 740 with no proplems, but from a 740 to a 640, you might have a change, then again, you might not. GM midi disks you get off the net should be ok, I have a fairly extensive collection I have gathered that way.
