I have a PSR530. I would like to create complete songs using the auto arranger, etc. and download it onto a PC for editting. I just purchased the midi kit from MIDISOFT with the cables, and recording software but I can only record individual tracks that I play while the software records. Can't I transfer complete songs. I'd especially like to transfer some of the demo song and edit those. Is it the software, a MIDI limitation, or my lack of knowledgge?

Sometimes demos are recorded onto chips and are not an actual sequence, meaning it is not available in the sequencer format. If this is the case, there is no midi information available to send to a sequencer.

Thanks for your reply! I understand that a "chip" demo might not be sent. But why can't I sent a song I recorded using autoarranger, etc.?
