The PSR1000 is rated at 31W at 16 Volts DC and uses the PA300 power supply (which isn't listed as an accessory as it comes with the keyboard). So that makes the current consumption 2 Amps. Best to check the spec on the Yamaha web site just to make sure.

Thanks....that's what I thought. I'm finding a few vendors, and not just at eBay, that aren't including the power supply with the keyboard. Yet, they are advertising these as brand new and fresh from the factory. They want an additional $75 for the supply!
Maybe this is how they make their prices so attractive. Why does Yamaha allow this? I noticed that in Yamaha's specs they do say the power supply is included. Let the buyer beware!

Greetings Friend,

In the manual which comes with it, it is clearly mentioned - the adapter may not be included in some countries - so I feel you may be living in such a country. I probably feel that your vendor may be right.

Regards,
Sam
