#73165 - 05/01/99 07:13 PM Two questions about PSR730...

1) It happens sometimes that my PSR730 resets on its own, while I am playing or when I switch it on (without hitting any keys).
2) Very often, while I am working on MIDI files with Cakewalk, the keyboard produces the RIGHT2 voices instead of the RIGHT1, other times it plays together RIGHT1 and RIGHT2.
Could someone tell me why does it happen?
Thank you

Stefano

Hi There!

Your sound problem is related to the fact that even if you don't have the PSR set in dual voice mode, it sends the sound information anyway. So, in cakewalk, if you have a track only assigned to one midi channel (say channel 1), depending on what order cakewalk sends the midi information the PSR will select the sound.

This is only a problem if you select the voices from the PSR control panel. For this reason I would use the computer to select the voice.

Hope that this is of some help.
Brad.
