I need a good and reliable effects processor, mainly for live use but also for studio use.

Lexicon MPX200, TC Electronic M-300, Yamaha REV500 or even the new Alesis AKIRA?

I need a good and reliable effects processor, mainly for live use but also for studio use.

The effects processor will be used almost only for reverb on vocals.

I really need to know what's the best Reverb on these units. Lexicon MPX200 is very poor on editing functions...

Anyone here is using a Lexicon MPX200 or a TC Electronic M-300?
I would really appreciate some input on these two units, as well as another options...

Thanks in advance.

I've listened to a couple of Lexicons and that would be my prime choice. I was shopping for one of their budget fx, but spent the money on a phone. After that I'd go for the TC. You have to listen to them, but you can't really go wrong with those two.

Now, if I only had some cash over for a PCM-90 or any of the other higher end Lexicons.

If I had the cash I would also look for the upper level of lexicon processors! But I haven't!...

What do you think is the processor with more editing functions? Lexicon has only a "liveness" adjust on the reverb... nothing more... That's very limited...

Do you need to edit the reverbs? If you don't get the very cheapestest model, I think the editing is ok. As good as my Alesis Midiverb4 anyway (check that out btw).

No, the editing isn't as good as the midiverb...
As I said, I can't only change that parameter... not even the pre delay...
That's a shame...

I had a Yamee and tought it was great until one day when I realized it sucked, well compared to some others TC,and Lexicon are good I use a TC for Chorusing. A Lexicon Vortex for effects morphing (multiple effects with actively changing parameters) Eventide and UREI make some great stuff but hey, you practically have to be able to pull $100 dollar bills out of your _ ss to afford them.
Would you like to buy a vowel?
