G;'Day folks,
I have spent a fair amount of time today loading up an SD card with some of my favourite sounds etc.
Question....The card which came with The Beast,(KN7000 WHAT ELSE!!) is 8mb capacity, is there a limit to the size of card to be used, as I have filled this one, and it is nowhere near the capacity of the 99 folders, and if not, or if so, what do the people of experience suggest? Or do I have to buy more 8mb cards?
Be warned, the questions will get harder.
see ya !!
Ray

Hi,The max is 1gig as anything larger is outside the range of the KN7. I use a lot of 512m cards as this handles the 99 files and is large enough for most people. The only time larger cards are needed is if you load audio files using Jukebox software.
Hope this helps John.

Hello,

I work with SD cards of 1 GB. One can also use 2 GB of SD cards. Indeed, if one formats 2 GB in the KN 7000, it becomes 1 GB.

2GB SD cards are perfectly usable in the 7k but must be formatted in the Jukebox software not the 7k. The % left display in the 7k screen will be wrong with 2GB cards but everything else works fine and the full 2GB can be utilised in the 7k for digital audio etc.

Thank you all for the information.
I have gleaned from it that 1gb will be suffice for my needs.
I will go shopping Thursday and see what I can find.
Question for Roger....How much should I pay for 1gb ? Too hard ? Sorry i will talk slowly, and make the questions easier next time.
See Ya !!!
