Hello,

When I play a violin sound with my Roland G-800, I cannot make it fade out gradually except by slowly pulling down the volumn lever.

Is there any other way to fade out a sound ?

Thanks,
Cuong Nguyen

It's all rom sounds. Apart from FX and aftertouch and sustain, there's not much you can do on a G 800, but you can use an expression pedal, like a roland EV-5.
Also very handy for the organ presets.

Fred's right. Set the violin sound to respond to cc11 or cc7 and use an EV5 to fade in and out !
