Would anyone know the approximate value of an eight and a half year old KN5000? In perfect condition of course, and with a few extras. I am located in Australia. I have joined the many who have updated to a Yamaha PSR-S900 and sadly don't have the room for two keyboards. If I did I would keep the old girl. It was and still is a great board!

From memory, the last one I saw for sale in a Melbourne music shop was around AU$1400 with warranty. Based on this I would think around AU$1200 might be a reasonable initial asking price, however the KN5000 whilst still an excellent keyboard, may be harder to move than the later models.

The price asked for here in England is around £350, but you could get more depending on the extras.

Good luck!

Hi everyone,

Many thanks for your input re the KN5000's value. I now have a much better idea about the asking price. Maybe it would be a good idea to let the Christmas festivities and all the associated expense die down before I put it up for sale!!

All the best for the New Year,
Cleon
