I'm updating my Korg Triton with a scci card so i can hook up an external cd-burner. Does any one know if I can hook up any cd burner or does it have to be a specific one? Thanks.

you can use the scsi cd burrner on a triton classic as a cd reader only. not for burning.

i belive the same is true for externl cd on the studio and extreme also. but not sure

of course the extreme would be usb and not scsi

i use a cdrw drive with a scsi hard drive in a chain with a triton pro. but i only use the crrom if theres a sample on cd i want to load. the hard drive is much much faster loading. i have scsi card on my computer also so i can back up the hard drive directly to the computer i could then make a cd of the hard drive files with the scsi cdburner but like i way sayin the hard drive is way way faster
