Dan,

How about XV5080 or XV3080?

I will buy one when they become 599 and 499.

The 1080's are still getting that kind of money. Good sounds don't just fade away. Try buying an MKS20 for under $300. Ain't gonna happen !

I tell you... if you want a module that has good sounds in every category, the XV series is the one. But I am not going to pay $2000 for XV5080 or $1000 for XV3080. What about 899 and 699?

I paid retail for my XV5080. It costs a fortune in Canada, somtimes you just gots to have it! I also bought a JV1080 when they came out, and I also bought a JV880 when that came out. If you wait 15 years you can get a bargain. I got a Jupiter 6 MINT, not-one-single-scratch with a hard flight case for 600 bucks (canadian)....several years ago....that made up for it!
