I have received 3000 files that only have Memory A and Variations 1 and 2. Are there any files that contain all 3 memory banks as well as all 4 Variations? I would think it would be scarey to use one of those files on a gig and you go to memory b or to var 3 or 4 only to find NOTHING is there, cause your board wont play anything. Is this the usual type of file you can get or should I not even bother with incomplete files?

Have a browse around Gunnar's web site - he has a good collection but not sure about KN3000 http://home.c2i.net/gjgotaas/

Gunnar Jonny's site has plenty of stuff to satisfy most people, but if one of the styles with only variations 1 and 2 seems exceptional to you, you can always copy variations 1 and 2 to 3 and 4. You can even change part voicing to make 3 and 4 different. Then you can feel comfortable using them with a gig.

As Walter say here, CA Software may be worth
a visit for you.
Christian have used all the the variations in
the composerbanks A, B and C, and panel-
memories banks A, B and C.
He have also done a great work to create new
rhythms and songs, and for most all KN's.
Those I have downloadable are all converted
stuff, only using 4 variations in composer A,
and have to be adjusted and tweaked before it
sound reasonable good.

There is no reason to be afraid to use "only"
2 variations on a gig, as long as they fit to
the song you perform.
You can always set the panelmemories to be used
in expanded mode, then you'll never hit a empty
composerbank

Gunner......

My major problem here is that Im still trying to figure out the best way to use this 3000 with my music. You see I play an Alesis Qs8.1. Tried to midi the Qs to myu 3000. It was ok, but relly was just adding to more settings that I already have. So, I think I am going to begin making my panel settings for the songs I really need the 3000 for. I am a solo musician and use mini-disc that has been sequenced and my vocals have been added for real band sound. It is difficult, but I KNOW how to do that. Thank you for your resonse. Im sure I will talk to you again...
