I've been skimping and saving for about two years for a modular synth. I finally am getting in the ballpark range of affording a small setup. Anyone have any experience with them ? I am an industrial music maker and am looking for something to give me a wide variety of really wierd sounds. What brands would you reccomend as far as reliability and sound ? I've looked at Synthesizers.com, Doepher, and Wiard synths so far. Any other reccomendations ?

Search for "Synthesizer Network" on Google. It's a Swedish dealer here in Gothenburg. It's a great site and has some detailed info on Doepfer modules and others too. You probably should shop somewhere closer to home though

I'm sticking to my Nord Modular. Plenty of weirdness there.

PS. If you ever get enough cash, get a fully loaded Technosaurus D system.

I hear that! My Uncle has a Moog system, we call it "the wall" LOL cause that's what it is, an entire wall. I have been trying to get him to cut it loose to me. I know he will eventually. When I used to go to his home in Encino I'd just gaze at "the wall". Now he's in NY and it is in storage. 6 LFO's and 12 OSC's RMOD's and filters up the ying yang! 4 ENV's too. MY GOD. Actually, I think God may have owned it before he upgraded! LOL
Get Busy Child! It takes like 15-20 min to patch it in.
Like to see somebody make that in a 1U rackmount!
MORPH!
