I have just purchased a 512MB SD card to which I would like to add some backing tracks from a CD. If I enter 2 CD's worth of backing tracks, the playback using SD - Audio Play on my KN7000 works fine, but if I add a third CD's audio files and try to play back on the KN7000 using SD - Audio Play it says there are no files to play. If I check the SD remaining memory both on the KN7000 and a computer less the half of the SD memery has been used. Is there any limit to how many audio files can be stored on a 512mb SD card.

Thanks

Glen

Hi Glen,

I have no idea what the limit is but currently I have 10 playlists containing a total of 53 SD Audio tracks on a 256M card. As this card also contains around 750 Technics files spread accross 85 folders, it is almost full. I have just started putting SD Audio tracks on dedicated 512M card and would also interested to know the numerical limit for SD audio files on a single card.

Cheers
Len C.

I'm would like to know how you organise your SD saves Len as you seem to get a great deal more songs on your card than I am getting and I'm talking about 256mb and 1gb. My understanding is you cannot get any more than the stated 99 files x 20 songs to each -or have I got that wrong?

Perhaps you could use this site for your reply as I'm sure other members will be interested in what you have to say as well.

Regards,
