Hey, I'm looking to buy a versitile, easy to operate synth for studio/live use. I need something that can emulate analong sounds and that has some nice fat tones. I'll be sequencing it with an Mc-505, and I'd like something for around a grand...any suggestions?

peace

No. Why don't you search these forums first. We get this question several times every GOD DAMN week. Sometimes even more often. I suggest you the Ensoniq SQ1+.

Hello and welcome!...........Questions like yours are most welcome.........this is a "general" forum the last time I checked!!

I'm a big Yamaha fan and I love my CS2x with all it's knobs. It's easy to operate and easy to save your sounds. They cut right thru the mix! I'd check out Yamaha's CS6x.......I've seen them go for around $1100. Best wishes!!

T2 is a nice size for gigging. Got some good FAT sounds.
I'd avoid anything with "Roland" on it.

Do NOT listen to that guy! Roland developes very good sounding synths!

Chris, don't You think that the K2600 is a little bit too expensive for the first real synth? But I would like to have one as well. It's a great synth.

What about an Access Virus? I do not have one, but everyone else loves it.

Try this one, $899.99!

E-MU PK-6 Proteus Keys

some specifications:
