Hi

I have a couple of midi files which worked fine on my old KN1500 and PSR740 they don't seem to work on the KN7000

I have however, made it so it will play via like previous version but the sounds come out in Piano rather than the orchestral sounds, they both were very good versions and I miss them a lot - do they have to be converted.

If anyone has a solution I would be happy to send the files across for examination, just for your info they are Summer Nights and Let It Be.

Kind regards

Maybe the reply Rikki gave me to my question "Changing key in a midi file" might help solve your problem. Good luck.

Andrew,

I know you asked me this question via email, and I did not relpy, because I find midi's frustrating. Sorry about that.

I have always wondered why a file that is this small (midis) can be so complicated to sequence and edit.

Many midis are really good, and I enjoy them, but for me?... Too frustrating.

Larry ... I share your frustration ... sometimes ... Most of the time I don't have a problem editing midi files (changing voices, volume, extending the length of the song, etc.), ... but every once in a while ... like last night when I was trying to permanently change the tempo of a midi ... I've done it before, but last night it wouldn't take ... any hints??? ...
thnx,
t.

Hi Larry

Thanks for your reply, I wasn't sure if you had got it yet but not a problem - hope things are well...

I'll speak to you soon.
