Below is a copy of the answer I received from Dan Yuter of Panasonics, Technics organization, regarding all the suggestions everyone sent to me.

Dear Larry:

Thank you for your letter, and ideas and contributions to make our KN7000 and future products better. Some of these ideas, we have talked about with the factory, others that you've submitted are very interesting, and I will pass them along. Sometimes it's hard to incorporate a lot of things, because it becomes a cost factor, and we're trying to keep the price down, as best as possible. I will send all of the ideas, and wish list to our Product Specialist, Chris Halon. He in turn, can pass them on to the Factory. We are already working on the next Generation KN7000 hopefully to come out sometime next year. Thanks again, for your support of Technics products.

Dan Yuter

Technics / Panasonic

Thanks again to all who contributed.

Larry

Thanks for coordinating and actioning this, Larry. It is very easy for people to say 'Why doesn't this keyboard have such-and-such a feature', so it is good that someone has taken the initiative to do something positive and provide constructive suggestions to Technics. And thanks to Dan Yuter for graciously accepting our ideas.

Regards,
Mike

Hi Larry, You did a good job I wish to echo Mike's comments - It's encouraging to know that you received a generally positive response.
Thanks again......

Quote...larry gosmeyer above. We are already working on the next Generation KN7000 hopefully to come out sometime next year.

Does this mean the KN7000 will be obsolete in 6 months plus ?

Thanks for your efforts in this, Larry.
Good yob, I am happily surprised to the positive reaction of Technics through the person of Dan Yuter. I hope this action makes a 'crowbar' to more transparency or openess to the consumers of their keyboardproduct (in fact us ).
Greetings,
Cees

Hi Larry:

Thanks, Many people have great ideas, but very few follow them through. People like you make this forum what it is.

Have a wonderful day, John C.

Larry,

If I remember correctly, receiving responses from Panasonic in past was a fruitless effort.

Your collection of ideas to improve the 7000 was done professionaly.

New cars come out every year, why not keyboards.
