KN7000 delivered in my area today.
After a call from my local dealer I rushed round to play it - absolutely superb
Agreed a price to part exchange my KN6000
Then trouble The KN7000 is approximately 3.5 ins (9 cms) longer that the KN6000. Won't fit in my keyboard bag Tried other bags at the dealers - none would fit
Dealer contacted bag suppliers - who have none - but expect to produce one in about a month.
So if you gig with your keyboard - make sure you've got something to carry it in before you hand over your cash
Ah well it's back to the KN6000 until I can track down a bag big enough

What are the specific measurements of the keyboard as listed in the owners manual? I need to do a comparison with some of the stuff I have, also.

Go down to your local cheap sporting goods store and by a golf bag case. They are inexpensive when on sale and should fit your KN7000. I bought one for my KN6500 on sale for $39.95 and fits with room to spare. It also has wheels on it. Then all you need to do is get some foam and cut it out to fit the bag and your instrument. This makes for a cheap, sturdy, easy to handle case. The wheels really come in handy! Also, has pouches in it to carry other things.

Now why didn't I think of that. I have already got one of those and I only use it a about twice a year, next time will be for christmas in Florida, so now it becomes a part time keyboard trolley. Probably bubble wrap would do the shockproofing, I'll give it a try. Peter, you're a star it must be the name.

WOW..... I can't imagine that the kn6 fits in that thing..... I'll have to try when I get home ...
For local gigs I use a pick-up (with a cap), so there's no problem, but in a couple of weeks I have to sing at a niece's wedding about 250 miles away .... if I take the kn6 in the car it takes up the rear seat (the case I have doesn't fit in the trunk) ... I need the rear seat for a passenger, so I was looking at the probability of transporting with NO case.... that might not be the situation now...... thanks much, Peter

114 cm x 17 cm x 41 cm

thus 8cm longer, same depth, but 3cm lower in height when closed than 6X00, according to the spec.

Golf bag with wheels eh!

What rotten luck John You could always fit a 'GT Hump' on your existing bag
