Hi. I'm enquiring on behalf of a friend who has recently upgraded to a KN7000 from his KN6500. With both keyboards, he's had the same problem. He initilises, then restores his settings from disk. He finds that on some patches, the lower sound is transposed down a semitone. This transposition doesn't show in the editing parameters. Any ideas what he may be doing to cause this?

Hi there
This is a regular problem - normally resolved by making sure the modulation wheel has not been disturbed

Thanks for your interest. Modulation wheel? Set to a very slow vibrato, perhaps :-)
It turned out to be a problem with footswitch 2. He used a latching footswitch, normally routed to Leslie effect. Occasionally he saved to disk when it was routed to the default - glide, and latched on. When he brought the machine to me, he didn't connect this footswitch, thinking it wasn't relevant.
