What happened to the little Icon which allowed us to respond to a post, without quoting the content of the post, to which we were replying? I realise that the quote which appears automatically can be highlighted and deleted - just wondering ? ?

Hi Willum,

I don't think anything's changed.

I typically use the 'Post Reply" box (white w/blue lettering) which appears above (and slightly to the right) of the area where the much tiny-ier 'quoting reply' icon (you are talking about) is located.

Hi,
if it is this forum you are talking about,
there is icon for both "post new topic" and
"post reply" at the bottom of the page, left
side, and upper part right side as Scott say.
But on my screen those buttons are white with
black letters?
Different appearance on different screens?
GJ

It looks like this:

Nope, maybe i'm going color blind. I guess it's really white with a textured looking blue/black background acting as the 'cutout' lettering. I think everyone sees basically the same thing here, but the color may vary slightly, depending on the color resolution you have your monitor set at.

Sorry Scott, I meant black framed letters,
and yes, when rezize the icon, it seems to
be a very dark blue colour.
Guess I have to clean the screen and my old
glasses

Hi Scottyee and Gunnar, I think I'm getting mixed up with another forum which I visit occasionally - nothing to do with music - but has a very similar format(Silly Billy!)
I was sure there was an additional icon at the top of the postings next to the 'Reply with quote' option but it seems I am mistaken. I'ts old age creeping on you know!

Thanks for your replies

Regards

Hi BEBOP - So, you've sussed my little plan Eh? It doesn't really matter what we are called, the important thing is friendly participation and the will to help one another. Got a weekend free for a change so I'm off to spend some quality time on the KN.
Have a pleasant weekend.
