I'm not a professional keyboard player, so I don't play in public very often. The 'wow' factor of the KN7000 was evident when I played four pieces at a concert at our church on Saturday evening. I had the KN connected via DI box into the main speaker system. Several people in the audience expressed their delight and amazement in what they heard. One lady told me she had a cheap Yamaha keyboard (I didn't ask which model) and that she hadn't touched it for a while, but now felt her passion for the music reignited - but she wants the KN7000. She noted details of the model and asked me how much it costs and where she could purchase it. Another lady asked if I had recorded a CD.

This kind of response stirs me to spend even more time practising and arranging. And thanks to everyone for styles, sounds and practical hints.

Regards,
Mike

Mike, I don't care to play for an audience, at home or at church, since my fingers tend to turn into thumbs. However, when I do enough songs to fill a cd, about 15, I burn the cd, print the labels, and give them to whoever wants them. I ask them to make a donation to the church for the worship team expenses. A win - win situation. Hasn't made the church rich, though.
