I am thinking of 'upgrading' to KN7000 but have a hd-sx3 hard drive filled with goodies does anyone know if it is installable into the kn7000? I've asked panasonic but they have not (yet) responded.

Also considering TYROS as alternative to KN7000 has anyone tried out the organs on this - it seems Kn7000 might win because of the organs - and the fact it has a bass pedal port amongst other things.

Thankyou 'technicsplayer' - for your explaination of transferring the files from HD-SX3 to SD Card via floppies - Just one thing am I correct you managed to install the HD-SX3 in your KN7000? Also wondered is the hard drive now redundant ie: can you see any reason for keeping it once you have transfered all the files. Many thanks for your help!

no, the hard drive does not fit in the 7000, you need to backup from the 6X00 that it is fitted in now, if you did not backup the floppies you copied in to the sx3 on the computer as you went along, if you see what I mean. The sx3 only works in the 6X00 series.
