Yamaha has released an incredible Music Practice App called EXTRACK.

You can install this app on your iPhone or Android.

It can analyze any audio track (MP3, AAC, FLAC) and break it down into separate Vocal, Drums, Bass, Piano, Guitar, Brass and other parts.

You can change the volume or mute individual tracks.
You can change the Key and the Tempo.
You can define repeat markers.
You can display the Chords in Piano, Guitar or Notation format.

You can add a Metronome, change the Upbeats and Downbeats and turn on a 4 beat count-in.

I think Yamaha has just created the most intuitive, practical and fun tool for learning how to play music.

The free version has a maximum limit on the number of songs you can store.
The paid subscription for $39.99 per year removes all limits.
