An old Wersi (Came out around 15yrs ago) but interesting demo.
As with all single keyboard Wersi's, a second keyboard and pedals could be added with full integration into the OS. (No workarounds required)
Enjoy

Sounds great! I just wished that the price would of been a little more down to earth, plus I just have too many styles for the Korg PA and would be hard for me to convert to a WERSI.

Reminds me of the closing days of the home organ era, when the few surviving instruments were five and even six figure works of home furniture!

The minute an instrument starts to be beyond the reach of ordinary musicians, it’s a sign they have mostly moved on to more affordable ways of achieving the same if not better.

The home organ did it to the piano. Arrangers did it to the home organ. Grooveboxes and software have done it to arrangers.

I wonder what’s next? Mind you, grooveboxes and software are still pretty cheap, so I guess we’re not looking at their successor yet!

The problem today (Although some will think its next generation) is AI, which is starting to be used extensively for producing music.
The question you have to ask is, will the musician as we know it today (And in the past) even be around in the future?
Lets face it an iPhone or tablet is cheap (Other manufactures are available) and powerful (Even base models) and great for AI.

AI is only really impacting professional studio musicians. The arranger has always been primarily a live music tool for amateurs and professionals alike. I don’t think AI is going to change the live scene.

And, bottom line, music is FUN to play..! AI can’t change that. People are always going to want to play, and live venues are always going to want a human making music. Whether it’s a piano, a guitar, an arranger or a groove box, people want to watch PEOPLE play music.

If I made a living doing commercials or video and film music, I’d be worried. But my days doing that are long over. And live music always was my first love. I think we’re good to go…
