I have owned a Yamaha Genos for about two years now, and the tool really sounds very good, but I have now also bought a ketron sd 90 module and I am stunned! The sound of the drums and the style of rhythms give the feeling of a real drummer live, the rhythms are not crowded and mostly consist of bass, drums, percussion, piano and sometimes with violins or hammond in the background which is good, and sound especially great for dancing. The sounds in the right hand at a very high level, some better than the genos and some less so. I no longer do gigs, but if I did I have no doubt I would take the Ketron and not the Genos. For recordings it's a different story because the effects and filters in Genos give a better studio feel.
