After meeting Claudio in Landcaster Pa recently to purchase His Mint Genos I met a real Gentleman, Now a Friend. I love to deal with people like this! The Genos is a very nice Keyboard for Me. Love the 76 keys and action. The layout is easy to get around on and Sounds/styles are very good, again for Me. We are spoiled by all the Great Keyboards We can purchase...I want to thank Frank for giving Me the Lead. I have purchased previous Keyboards and Sound Gear from Frank with Great success, none Better!...So Thank You Claudio and Frank for everything....Sincerelty, Harold

It’s funny how things change! Years ago, when Yamaha didn’t make a 76 no matter the cost, I couldn’t get a Yamaha player to admit a 76 was needed. Now they don’t make a 61 TOTL no matter the cost, magically the 76 is quite happily accepted...

Perhaps the next step is a 76 SX series, now that the advantages of those extra keys is being willing to be admitted! I for one would quite welcome a 76 SX900. As I really like playing piano parts with both hands, the extra octave or so makes all the difference..!

So true Diki...Like You I like full keyboard Piano as My favorite even split mode gives you more room...as long the weight is good. It's really what fits ones need. been a lot of 76 models around for along time. Yes the SX-900 would be real nice with 76 keys maybe that will happen soon. being retired My budget has limits My Wife reminds Me! I was looking for a pre-owned Genos for almost 2 years which I saved up Money during that time. It happened paid CASH I'm happy. Now if My aches and Pain don't get the best of Me. Harold

Harold, if your aches and pains come, having a Genos will make them easier to deal with. (smile) As I read your posts my desire to have a Genos is growing.

Oh well, John C.

I must admit, my BK-9 being under half the weight of my G70 has been very welcome! One of the under-appreciated advantages to the lighter weight is that lighter construction cases can be used while still providing full protection. Cases for a 45lbs keyboard really need to be traditional flight case construction, which means close to 30lbs+ added to that 45lbs keyboard... Ouch, my poor back!

For most of the time I used my G70 I played either bands or a duo, which meant help with the lifting, but since I do primarily solos now, that 20lbs BK-9 in the 20lbs SKB hard case is a dream come true!

If you can find an SKB that fits the Genos, that sounds like a great rig for all round playing..!
