The Demise Of Technics (continued...)

Michie's just replied to a topic posted by a gentleman in the US wanting to connect his 6000 to his computer. It's a fair enough question but the software and hardware involved may very shortly get to be difficult to obtain, for obvious reasons.

If Bill (Bebop) agrees can we use the forum as a form of 'Trading Post'. It may turn out to be the only place that'll be left to obtain such items. Our local dealers, whom I contacted yesterday already have started hiking up Technics prices. You'd have thought that the cost would have gone down.

Please, if you've got second-hand / used Technics products, let the rest of us know. If we're in the same country you might just make a sale.

With respect,

Mark

There is already a dedicated forum site at Synth Zone for the purpose that you propose here http://www.synthzone.com/cgi-bin/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number=29&SUBMIT=Go

Nigel is the owner of Synth Zone and any changes in the rules should be directed towards him for he is the only person that could agree to any changes

Johnnie,

Mark's just gone to bed but I'm still awake (just!). I'm putting together a seperate email that will be sent to Nigel in the morning. Many thanks for letting us know. We'll try not to make the same mistake again.

Michie

At least we have Technote in England and USA to keep us supplied with Technics parts for a while.
