Hi, I have a Yamaha Sx900. On my past keyboards I was able to create a song set up (not a song) and then add Text/Lyrics to the set up. I can’t find a way to the same thing on the Sx900.
I am not trying to add the Text to a song or a midi file. Any help is appreciated, John C.

John, I copied my Text files on to a memory stick, in folders and text format. On the computer, no problem, the folders open. In the Sx900 when I try to open the same folders, I get a blank page. Had no problem with Pa4x, using the same method. I am missing something.
Thanks for your reply, John C. PS, saving Text on to the regs on the Sx900 is not a problem.

Modorantes, what I like about keyboards, is that there is always something to learn. I thought that Lyrics and Text were the same; just saved differently. And, thank you for helping me to understand.
John A. I have my songs written in a word program in my PC. Many of them are recopied and saved in Simple Text.
Not getting bored, just finished making a wood stand for my Sx900. It will hold the keyboard, a 22” monitor, a laptop, and a mic stand; all wires tucked away.

I think the only format that works is plain text in a ".txt" file. Also I don't think that long lines wrap around so you have to do that manually. Having said that I have a suspicion that someone has done a utility that can do this for you, could be worth a look on the very useful P SR Tutorial site https://psrtutorial.com/util/index.html

I recently tried add lyrics to a midi song using the Serenade program. It’s worked for me in the past, and it kind of worked now also, but not quite. When I tried the file using van basco it worked great. But..... in the SX900 no lyrics appeared. Any help is appreciated Thank you Jim
