New Korg and Yamaha arrangers are loaded with hundreds of factory Registrations ( Songbook, Playlist) whereas the Ketron arrangers sport ZERO new Registrations factory wise. Hence I thought it might be a good idea and worthwhile experiment to ask all of you herE to consider this:
Most of you Ketron owners will have created some or many Registrations of your own, often saved in Registrations Bank A. ( or other banks). My suggestions is as follows:

1
Save your personal registration Bank to computer , turn it into a ZIP file and give it your own name.

2
Send this ZIP file as an attachment ( it can never be so large that it cannot be attached to a regular email )and send it to :
pasounds@zeelandnet.nl

3
I will collect all entries and make a large comprehensive ZIP file out of all of those and put it in my BOX account and will then provide all of those who contributed with a downloadlink.
Worth a try ? I definitely think so, so please join in now !

If this works out successfully we can later on decide to do similar things with User Sounds, User Styles and Launchpad content such as home-made riffs and pads. ( all the while respecting commercial copy-right stipulations of course)
You can comment here , but if you participate please send your Registration Bank ( zipped) to pasounds@zeelandnet.nl

greetings,
John

John,
looks like few people are interested In your project. I thought there would be a few. I
thought it was a good idea.

Hi Deane,

The response so far is without a doubt disappointing but do not expect any here on the SZ forum. Thru the Facebook SD group I have had several responses and also folks who are on holiday stating they will butt in at a later date. Nevertheless out of 460 members in that FAcebook group the response there is also disappointing in itself. But I have good hope that come the end of August we will have a substantial pool of new Registrations for each and everyone who is participating.
I will mail you personally over the weekend.

regards
John

How many Ketron owners are there on this forum? Not that many, I'd guess.

On Forums and facebook groups, most people are just readers, with no intention to write comments, or in this case, help out with a great project..

Projects like this mostly take time, and many little adss over time will make you end up with something great and helpfull

The response so far has been virtually none-existing!!! One person has shared his registrations with me, only to find that they (SD40) were not compatible with my SD9......(and vice versa or so it seems). It is amazing to learn that with over 460 members on that Ketron FAcebook forum there is no interest whatsoever. Oh well, we'll live.......
N.B. Bachus I seem to know you have the SD90 as well, or not anymore ? No registrations you have made then ?

regards
John

Hi Bernie,

that is not relevant, it is all about the REGISTRATIONS here. So if you save your Registration Banks, turn them into a ZIP file and voila.....you are ready to particpate. If you do please send them to pasounds@zeelandnet.nl. Most files are that small that they can be inculded as an email attachement. Anything larger than 10Mb of course would have to go via Wetransfer. But I am pretty sure yours will fit in nicely as an attachement. Hope you will particpate!!!

Regards
John
