Hi all,

I try to save a pattern with the following:

var1 has the Bass and Acp1 turned off

var 2 has the Bass and Acp1 volume the 100 levels

Var 3 has the Bass the Acp1 volumes at the 110 levels

Var 4 has the Bass and Acp1 volumes at 115 levels

How do I do it?

I was successful to copy the pattern to the memory, but it did not carry the Bass and Acp1 that I set for each pattern as mentioned above.

I appreciate any help that you may be able to give to accomplish this task.

Thanks so much for your time,
Doron Peisic

presumably you mean copy to the permanent custom section since this registration using composer and panel memory would be simple to achieve and save/load? Well the custom method is identical to setting up composer and panel memories.

Copy the pattern to composer A , now save the registrations in the first 4 memories of panel memory bank A, including all the muted parts etc, with each panel memory pointing to it's respective composer variation. Go to composer menu, custom style copy, and copy from composer A to a custom number.

Now when you select that custom style with MSA on, the registrations including all balances and muted parts etc will be available from the 4 variation buttons.

Technicsplayer hi,

Thanks very much for the prompt answer! I certainly got some progress

I tried it, and it works well for only one pattern, when saving one pattern with its own registration.

When I save the second pattern, and its registration the registration for the first one is changed, and the two patterned saved in the custom, now use the same A1-A4 registration

I want to have to 20 different patterns with their own registrations

How can I have all my 20 different patterns in the custom with their own registrations setting?

Thanks again,
Doron Peisic

re-check your settings. If it works for the first style it will work for subsequent styles with the same procedure. If the custom registrations are wrong then the composer/panel is saved incorrectly in the first place.

Is there additional set up for the custom registrations?

Do I have to do it throughout the recording memory procedure?

Thanks,
Doron

I further experiment it.

I observed that I can save 12 independent registration settings (A-C)*(1-4).

And I can assign it indecently manually to any custom style that I have selected.

I also observed that when MSA in on (MSA panel memory) it is only retrieving the registration from panel memory A.

Can the resister setting for each style be embedded in the custom style when saving?

Thanks,
Doron

if the MSA is on the default sound and rhythm then each custom will have its own set of registrations if you have correctly followed the instructions in my first post. If you have changed the MSA setting away from the default to panel memory then it is not surprising you always have the registrations in bank A since that is what is supposed to happen.

Hello Doron,

Looking at your settings, your Vari 1 has the Bass & Acc turned 'OFF' therefore I would think you will need to turn it back 'ON' for Vari 2 and re-save it to your chosen PM Then do the same for Vari 3 and Vari 4 re-saving each to their respective PMs.

Don't forget to make sure the 'EXPAND' Mode is on as well.

Try it and see if it works.

Good luck!

Hi Technicplayer and Audrey,

It works, and it works perfect!

That is exactly what I wanted to be able to accomplish.

My only mistake to implement the task was that the MSA was set for Panel Memory. As soon as I set the MSA to RHYTEM AND SOUND , any style stored in the memory group were entirely linked to panel memory (A1-4 to C1-4) registration setting.

With your first posting I was able to fully accomplish the desired task.

Thank you all much for your prompt response and devoted support,

Warm regards,
Doron Peisic
