I want to thank you again for gifting me the AT headset mic(year or two ago).. I did find it a bit hard to eq with a mixer for my voice and put it on the back burner..
Today, I was thinking of the convenience it would add if I keep my G70 on my Rock n roller cart (shelf) and not need to set up a keyboard stand and mic stand.
Just the G70 and Marantz voice rover (speaker) underneath the G70.. all on a mobile cart.
My EQ problem was solved by a method I have been using for a while on my G70.
I connect the headset mic into the G70, using mic and harmony settings... rout from mic external outs, and back into the G70 audio inputs (all in stereo). I then assign the stereo Eq (MFX) to the audio input. I have the volume control on the G70
I am able to set this EQ to a pleasing setting for the AT mic.. The stereo eq has 2 low settings 2mid settings, 2 high settings and a floatable mid Q setting.. Detailed with frequency settings. Also reverb and chorus on the same Stereo Eq MFX. this works in tandem with the G70 settings on board the mic and harmonizer section..
When all is set all the edits and routings are saved as a user program for instant recall... Works absolutely perfect.
Now if I ever get back to playing senior gigs again , I am set.
The odds of working senior centers again looks like a big no for me
