Has anyone tried out some of the latest stereo amps by Motion Sound such as the KP-610s and the KP-612s? Here is an AB test between the KP-610s and the TT08A. The TT08A is an expensive 8 inch monitor speaker.

The TT08 has much better clarity and presence . Almost sounds like two different piano samples . The motion sound is good if it had not been directly compared with the other amp .

They're probably really good amps but I think the trend is with powered speakers. Two 10 or 12" active PA speakers could be separated for a wider stereo sound, can be rasied on a stand to get the sound over the audience, and easier to move.
I'm a fan of the new trend in linear speakers started by BOSE and now copied all over.

I remember that the KP100s had pretty bad reviews. The old KP500sn has very good reviews, but the current models are supposed to be much better than the KP500sn. Stereo and some mixer features all in one box do make life easy, but the RCF TT08 must be something else. I never heard it in person. It seems that now there is a 2nd version of the TT08. Each speaker sells for $2,000, but I found a vendor that sells one for about $1,400. Hmmmmm......
