For those of you who prefer to hear more of the style, and less of the lead vocal ... here's a Sinatra Stab that I recorded directly to the disk on the SD7

The lyrics are particularly timely ... even today. (hope I got them all correct)
I tried to bury the RH, and the vocal more than I like so you can hear the clarity of the keyboard parts.

I like this balance setting , of course, the song choice , vocal, and Rhodes comping are to my liking also, very nice sir.

sounds absolutely mesmerizing to me and does full credit to both your vocals and the excellent Ketron SD7. Going live I would opt for this quality rather than being able to read viewer comments while peforming. It is truly a treat Dave and once again underlines the forte of the Ketron.............Keep it up !!!

regards
John

John,
With all due respect, taking the "conversation" out of a live performance turns it into a studio recording. That process, for me, would require meticulous attention to detail, which I just don't have the mindset to do right now. The purpose of these live streams is to connect with my public, spread some joy, and create a reminder of what was once our normal. Live performers feed off the crowds, so even in this digital format - the crowd drives the energy of my performance. There's an exciting uncertainty that fuels an adrenaline-like feeling, and frankly ... there's nothing like it.

I enjoy recording, and when my time, and thought process align ... I will be delighted to make some recordings that really shine, but until I know where my next paycheck is coming from ... or how I will be able to earn another one ... I will entertain anyone willing to listen for as long as I'm able. When it's time to decide on how to proceed ... I'll address my options then. I have a few irons in the fire, and some very well thought out ideas for the next 10 years of my working environment.

Nothing's is certain. Nothing is promised. Hmmmmm .... sounds a lot like the way the music business has been MY WHOLE LIFE. lol

Donny, thanks, but I'd rather handle the posting of my own stuff. I know you're just trying to help.
