Much as I like and admire John Fogery, this guy beats them all and is probably one of the very greatest the USA has ever produced. I often have heated discussions with friends of mine who admire Paul McCartney and they get upset when I mentioned that Brian is on par with Lennon and McCartney, which I fervently believe he is. We all know about his turbulent past but if you listen to the music he wrote, sang and produced over the last 20 years, not to mention his many live concerts, you will be astounded. Below three links, the first to his current message, the second a 45 indepth interview with him and his wife Melinda ( 2004) and last but by no means least, a blanket coverage of his concert at Basel , Switzerland ( 2016). EnjoY!!!!

John

Give me a break Donny, I have been churning out songs galore for the last few weeks, including a complete new Album, still freely admissable via BOX, see link below and my guitars diddies.....
Am now relaxing and no doubt will do some stuff with piano, guitar and vocals, possibly some SD7 into the bargain but there is no rush.Truth be told these days I am glad to be still alive.....no joke intended here.

regards,
John

Brian wilson was definatly on par with Lennon/Mccartney/Martin. I include George Martin as I think he was as important to their songs as the two composers were. Wilson did it all alone and the pressure caused his breakdown. Coming up with Pet Sounds to compete with Sgt. Pepper was a monumental task. A few years ago I found on YouTube a post with just the BBs vocals without the music. The harmonies arranged by Wison were amazing and I got a bigger appreciation for them.
