I read somewhere that this is the world's most perfectly written tango. The more I play it the more I believe that. It's a tune you can sink your teeth into. Every note is a melody in itself. The progression (D minor) is made for improvising. The whole song was put together flawlessly...no dead space whatever in there. Every note has a purpose.
