Those videos were a rush job as form of audition for Margaritaville Casino. (I didn't get the job). Audio level was a little hot on some of them.

Thank you guys. Should have called it Rainy Month In Louisiana. Only two days in the past month it hasn't rained. I just picked up sandbags to keep water out of the garage in case it doesn't stop soon.

...and that's not his best song. (But what I'd give to be able to sing like that!)

Awesome Don. And I love your guitar work. Very tasty. And the pinched harmonic on the guitar occasionally is great attention to detail.

I liked this performance too, just as I liked other songs by DonM which I have in my collection.

I used to think that this style of music (country) is so "American" that only Americans can get it right, but now I have a thought that Country deals with the image of America which exists in our minds, a bit romanticized and symbolic, not necessarily depicting the atmosphere people in USA are dealing with each day.

Personally I feel more alienated when I listen to today's popular music, or some songs which I hear, for example, in McDonalds or Burger King (we have a lot of them now).

These thoughts gave me an idea that I probably should get my guitars fixed.

Thank you Sir. Glad you liked it. Music is a great way to communicate. I don't like very much of modern music either, although of course there are exceptions.
