Good talent, good sound. I remember bringing a CD of this type of jazz to my guitar teacher. He listened and said, “He sounds like 100 other players”. Since then I view jazz differently.

This type of jazz funk might sound a bit less individual than other types of jazz, so I think I know what the guitar teacher meant.
I like it, the playing is excellent, but jazz funk has something of an elevator background music. Still very nice.
