I might be in the minority, but I actually prefer my keyboards not to have a tilt screen, it's just another thing that could go technically or mechanically wrong as the mechanisms start to get worn. For example on the Pa1000 to me it feels a little flimsy anyway, especially when closing/locking it back down, just feels clunkly like it could get stuck at any time. I would prefer a design where the screen is fixed on the keyboard but slightly raised at an angle so not being completely flat. I think the Pa1X was like that if I can remember it correctly, it was a long time ago so I might be wrong!

📝A new piece of 'plastic fantastic' to put on another piece of 'plastic fantastic made in China' 🙄😄😁

Oh well, some did ask for, or at least mentioned it, and some others could see business by realize the product.
But, for those of us not playing outdoor gigs anymore, it's probably not much benefit, and since it's a touch screen, it may be a bit clumsy when operate upper touchpoints.
The Genos screen is in fact among the best, it have some degrees of tilt, and even sharp light from above don't take away the visibility any much.
The shield seems to be a bit costy as well, or? 🤑

flimsy is the manufacturers faulty in design....down't have to be adjustable tilt but instead the can just angle it up a bit more keeping it stable also...

I agree with the potential mechanical problems and didn't like the lock feature on the 1000/4X. I much prefer the 3X way. I use that tilt ALL THE TIME - it is an absolute must for me and the glare can ALWAYS be eliminated with the parameters available. In a pinch, I can always just click it down with the keyboard off (not recommended).

The Genos comment sounds interesting that they a solution for glare. Also agree they should just elevate the screen, like a Roland VA or sort

the TILT display gives the player the option to keep it up down or in the middle to suit...a quality mechanical gear up/down
locking design is easy to do if they cared enough.
