Good idea Korg..
But why only have low end arrangers with 88 keys..

I'm sure its aimed at the home market. Nothing others have already done. Not to say it isn't a nice keyboard but Casio just released the same thing PX 3000. Really, for gigging you don't need that much so it may sell well in both markets

Actually, based on that video, I like it. I would get it for the same reason I got the Studiologic NC2x, just to have a little nonesuch keyboard to play with or even take to a rehearsal. I'm not in love with the NC2x (except for the piano and acoustic bass) and now wonder if I shouldn't have waited and gotten the Casio sx3000. Now, I'm thinking XE20. Gosh, I'm turning into Donny smile. Two advantages over my NC2x are the arranger feature and what appears to be better on-board speakers. Of course all of this is speculation as the last thing I need is another keyboard of any type and I'm way to lazy to try to unload the NC2x. Still.......

Okay Double-D (Donny and Dave), you guys are very funny. The difference between us Donny, is you keep yours 3 hrs, I keep mine 3 decades (like Fran smile ). Neither approach is good.

Because the PRO synth folks at Korg...do not want competition from the arranger guys at Korg.
