Now if you do this for each song all 10 or 8 buttons with different sounds
there is no way you can remember all the buttons.........this forces you to play the song as you go along the same way as per the button arrangement to a degree....

That is why I like 1 Reg per song 8 or 10 songs in a bank
and 4 OTS sounds (3 sounds in each ots) = 12 sounds..
this way I can jump around easily at will during the song and mix up the sounds in the arrangements
without having to try to remember what all these buttons are for....make sense?

Good layout as I'm sure you developed it over many years and gigs.
I don't like trying to button press when preforming. I've gone to a basic formula and it works great. I sing most songs so Piano or EP to start on UP1 and one other sound on UP2 ( usually, sax, flute, guitar,) for contrast. Stripped down the Styles too. To me too many sounds makes it sound fake. If your playing at home or recording go for it but again less is more. Listen to pro recordings in anhy Style and notice the soundscape formula. Did Erroll Garner need any other sounds ?
Can't see the buttons too well either. Last night in a dark restaurant I had to bend one of my LED's from my shelf down on the control panel.
BTW the BK9 / Eon One combo killed it.

Is the EA-7 a stripped down BK9, or the other way around?

Talk to Fran Carango or Don Mason on the EA7

I've listened to this stuff. Wow, is all I can say. I've also listened to Don's work too, which is always a good indicator (thx Don).

If I do get one, I feel confident that Fran can help me in some areas I might explore next smile
