Once I load the midi files in my kn6, is there a way that I can have them play one after the other? Also, is it possible to return to a previous midi file without having to reload disc?

I take it that this is a KN6000 without a hard disk - and that you work from floppy disks?

There is a facility on your load from floppy screen which is called 'Direct Play' which will cause the midi files to play one after the other. I believe that you can set it to repeat as well..but it will not allow you to go back say 2 or 3 numbers.

2 options:

Load the midis as single songs into the sequencer, maybe 8 or 9 typical retail midis will fit into the 10 songs available. The sequencer can then run in internal song medley mode selecting some or all with optional loop etc.

Second method load then save each midi as a technics sequence and play the technics sequences with the disk song medley mode, again selecting those to play or all, or optional loop etc.

With this second method you have the option of 10 song mode in the screen, so if each sequence consists of 8 or 9 songs in the sequencer (created by the first method), they will all play before the next selected file containing a new group of 8 or 9 songs will load and play if you require a very long series of automatic song play.
