Just bought this for my SX900:

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C4VTCZC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You'll need to reverse the polarity of the footswitch (in the kb menu) to use it.
(Yamaha is normally closed)
It's solid, QUIET and has dedicated 1/4" plugs for each pedal.
I use one for damper, and one for harm on/off.

Thanks Dave! Was looking at that one too! Looks like a great option for the SX900!

personally I like the single Boss FS-5U

That's pretty pricey, but quiet and sturdy are two important qualities. I shot a video that was ruined by a noisy pedal. I was using the pedal for Fill-to-self, so I was hitting it with gusto on the drum fills, and each time I hit it, there was a loud clank that was louder than anything in the room. The Yamaha FC5 is somewhat quiet out of the box - but not for long.

I might get this in a month when I have some WWBW points available.

Let us know how this works for you.

LOL - I was just about to post why I stopped using those, and I saw this. smile
The skinny, raised pedal actuator wore out a spot in my shoes too quickly. I think the flat piano style pedal is more comfy. Also, the spread between the pedals is larger, so I don't accidentally trigger a harmony where I don't want one. YIKES!

I must have 3 of these floating around in different areas of the studio. They multiply in the DARK!

Donny, why does the pedal use a battery, isn't just a switch?
Trying to learn, John C.

John, that Boss pedal needs to have power - it's not like the passive DP-2 pedals, or FS5 series. When the battery dies - it stops working.
