Have to say again - probably one of the nicest upgrades in the PSR line is 3 voices in right hand. Til now, only the TOTL arrangers had that - Tyros, Genos, and PAX models (not sure about PA1000). So when you consider that SX900 should play most Genos styles, having the 3 voice right hand makes the icing on the PSR cake quite a bit sweeter than the other models before it. Just sayin'.

What is everyone going to do when at Winter NAMM 20202 when a few new arranger kbs are released that could be the cats meow for you.?
maybe Yamaha knows that and is trying to get out in front early?

I'm taking a wait and see attitude this time around....
I have a feeling somethings about to blow!!

Could be Donny - but sadly they all play in the same key.... little tweaks. If they do indeed envision the "Holy Grail" of arrangers, they will likely hide it so as to make us continue the (incremental) search....

I took delivery on my 970 4 years ago this month. I've definitely aged worse than that board.... ho ho ho.... so a new board may be a dose of "Geritol" - the elixir that satisfies (albeit for a short while).

Thank you Zuki.
Keeping my options open on my PA3x. It’s value has no doubt been diminished because It’s picked up the sticky plastic issue , which has affected the screen and joystick surrounds. Fortunately it still functions normally.

Function wise, there’s only a couple that spring to mind that the Pa4x had and Pa3x hasn’t, ( and I would miss). the ability to copy and paste styles, and the ability to play styles directly from USB stick. They were great functions.

The ability to create styles from midi files personally I found over rated and didn’t end up using. Works for some, but not for the ones I wanted to convert.

So, waiting till I get the sx900 before I decide what to do with the Pa3x, all but giving it away at some ridiculous low price because of a cosmetic issue, I probably would end up regretting.

Obviously you’re still enjoying your pa3x. Great.
