Nice arranger in its time, especially Version 2 update. REALLY heavy though. At least it displayed text files; not sure any Rolands have since then.

Agreed Don,..Built like a tank as all Roland Arrangers were...
and a great sound too...

I remember at one of the jams, Semilivemusic (Bill) was taking mine out the back door at Ernest's, without a case, tripped and fell on the concrete step and dropped the E80 on the concrete. Bill hit the end of the truck and then the concrete and we though he was hurt really bad. That keyboard bounced off the concrete and I figured that was the end of it.
Neither Bill or the keyboard showed any real damage, although he was in pain after he sobered up! smile
