Thought I would share this one with you if I can get the link to work. My Wi-Fi is down so I can't use "Box" until I get things secured. This one is called, "Mississippi Moss!"

The lyrics are already posted at the linked site's song page.

I hope you like it. ----Dave

Very nice song, style and sounds!

If you could pick any well known singer/band to cover your this song, who would it be?

Hi Donny, Paul and Mel:

Thanks for listening and commenting. Who would I "select" to cover this little ditty? There must be a dozen or more "talented vocalists" still doing this sub-genre... but Mel hit the nail squarely on the head! Don Mason could tear this one up... and I would be thrilled! He's not the only one here at the "Zone" capable of doing some serious entertaining with it, though... but yeah, he's got the stage presence in this neck of the woods to die for.

Since you brought it up... I invite any or all of you to perform it "free gratis" from me. My objective in music... this late in life... is to have my songs "live on" long after I'm gone.

You guys never cease to amaze me with your talent and your boundless energy.

----Dave

Thanks, Gary, Tony and Scott:

It was a fun write. A bit out of my normal "wheelhouse" but I enjoyed getting it "musicated."

Scott... the style is found in R&B Styles on the 970 and is called "Funky Shuffle" and the tempo setting is 100. I kept the "Main Setting" at "B" for the entire song. As I usually do, I strayed from the instrument settings that come with the style just a bit.

I really liked the sound of the Cool Midnight DX Electric Piano.

Thanks again, guys... for listening and commenting. You've made my day.
