I love this New version ON STAGE cart,...
it's sooo much easier to close it using your foot vs bending down with the R&R cable system (ouch). mad
...& the wheel locks make sense too.
Great price also.

Both are very useful...big load or small.

Donny, it's expensive ($235 plus shipping), only 36 inches long, 18 inches wide and a 250 pound load capacity.

Compare to a R&R R-10: Cost $185, 52-inches long, 500-pound load capacity and you can add a top rack like I did for under $30.

Donny, the cart is much too short for any keyboard, even the mini boards, has not options for a top shelf, which saves your back during setup and take downs, no balloon tires, and not very strong. Other than that, it's just wonderful! wink

I always hauled the KB standing up bunged no problems,
no shelves that's just more stuff to carry & hook up...
but now we don't have to worry about that anymore do we? wink
...nice memories of a bygone era no regrets.
Time to go have a dozen little necks on the half shell and an ice cold beer watching the waves down the shore. ...l8tr

Thanks for the info!!

My Onstage cart came today. (got a 20% discount off the new lower price.)

Very well made and solid. (28lbs).
The foot release for the handles works very well.
Came ready to use right out of the box. No assembly.

The size is perfect for fitting in the vehicle.

I place the keyboard standing up with a bungee chord. Holds Keyboard, my bench , singers seat, two music stands, keyboard stand, case with 19" 2 in 1 computer, case with 2 wireless mics and receiver, folding utility table, with room to spare.

Don't have to worry about the sound system since both JBL eon ones are in a transporter case with wheels.

Got my one trip "ticket to ride".

In my case, the shelf was just two lengths of box aluminum held in place with detent pins. I made them for Joe Ayala and he said they were the best thing since sliced bread. Takes less than 10 seconds to install and takes up hardly no room in the van at all.

My Rock And Roller is an R-10 and when fitted with the gear, which consisted of the PSR-S910, Bose L1 Compact and extensions, custom console, gear bag for mics, spares, etc, my folding gig seat, double braced X-stand and Bob The Flame, I still had room for more and the cart never struggled.

My R-10 with the shelf installed, also served as a great setup platform using the inside of my semi-rigid keyboard case as a platform. The case also held the Bose cover and was a good place to store the gear bag. I just wheeled it out of sight while on stage.

Yeah, those were the old days, and I like to think them as the "Good Old Days" because it was just over 2 years ago and everything was smooth as silk.
