Also, why would he post a new video now of the BK-5? It's been around for a number of years already. Are they trying to sell the last units before a new one takes its place?

Could be. Great board but Roland should update the screens in their current lineup. But the BK5 and E-A7 have the best ease of use out there.

sound typical ROLANDI for the good and for the bad ,i like the acoustic piano and also the electric i do not like the brasses and the synth part , and after working for 13 yeares with ROLAND's keys and 8 yeares on KORG keys i am a fan of yamaha , nord , and hammond.

I'm pretty sure the E-A7 is better than the BK-5 in every way. Looking at the street price and some popular auction sites, I can't understand why anyone would pay MSRP for a BK-5 brand new.
