Hi all, I have been playing piano for a long time for my own pleasure (grade 8+) and want to move on to create a more complete sound. No plans to perform but I have been attracted to the PRS 3000. I am concerned at the reduced number of keys-I have never played a keyboard and know even less about how to use one. Would the PRS be suitable or am I jumping into the deep end with this machine I have no idea of how to link this up to a computer-if that's important or what scope it offers-Comments please!

If it's arranger keyboards you're interested in you may want to post over at the General Arranger KB forum here.

BTW It's PSR. Not PRS ;-).
They aren't that hard to use and are actually made for more or less beginners who need an accompaniment styles to play along to.

If KB feel is your concern you can always consider getting a synthesizer workstation with fully weighted piano action keyboard. Like Yamaha S90. has no styles but if you link one to your computer you will be able to create your own arrangements.

Good luck,
